Fix Kigali Now is a Rwanda-based technology platform operated by Kfixnow Ltd (registered with RDB), that connects customers with independent technicians in Kigali. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Kfixnow Ltd, trading as Fix Kigali Now.

• Phone numbers — for OTP verification and to share with confirmed technicians.
• Name — so technicians know who they are helping.
• Location — the neighborhood or address where service is needed.
• Issue details — a short description and any photos you upload.
• Technician application data — ID, CV, work photos, referees, areas served (for technicians only).
• Device & usage data — basic logs to keep the service working and prevent abuse.

• To connect customers with nearby verified technicians.
• To verify identity through OTP and reduce fake or prank requests.
• To share contact details only with confirmed technicians who paid for the lead.
• To improve safety, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
• To communicate important service updates.

• With technicians — your name, phone, location and issue details are shared only after you confirm a technician and that technician pays the lead fee.
• With service providers — trusted partners that help us run the platform (SMS provider, hosting, payment processor). They may only use data to provide their service to us.
• With authorities — if required by Rwandan law or to protect safety and prevent fraud.
• We never sell your personal data.

Your personal data is stored on secure servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Our hosting and database infrastructure is provided by Lovable, which operates on AWS cloud services in the EU Central region. This ensures strong data protection standards under GDPR and supports our commitment to keeping your information safe.

We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU without appropriate safeguards in place.

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.
